Candy Cane Mice Craft
Monday • December 7 • 10:30 am
Christmas is a time for special gifts, especially those made by hand which bring special love and joy to both the giver and the receiver. If you’re in the market for a stocking suffer that will mean so much more because you made it yourself. These cute little guys, which are easy and quick to make, will look grand peeking out from the top of a stocking on Christmas morn and once you know how to create them you can make as many as you like at home. Easy to make from minimal supplies, these are perfect for the Christmas season. This is a free event, supplies are provided, and everyone is welcome. Monday, December 7 at 10:30, Adams Memorial Library, 615-563-5861.

Pirates Invade Library

Tom Mason and the Blue Buccaneers invaded the Adam’s Memorial Library on Saturday, October 3, taking over the Jennings Community Room for a pirate concert. A band of four unruly ruffians led by Tom Mason played violin, cajón box drum, bass and acoustic guitar to entertain a captive audience of would be pirates and landlubbers. The children wore pirate hats while singing and dancing with the pirate band as parents huddled in appreciation. Tom Mason and the Blue Buccaneers will be sailing back again someday to the Adam’s Memorial Library. Keep your look out sharp or like our Facebook page to be one of the first to know when Tom Mason and Blue Buccaneers will invade again. It’s a show you don’t want to miss.
